KIM LONG MOTOR SIGNS COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH ITS FIRST DISTRIBUTOR IN THAILAND

KIJSETTHI Mobility is a company with over 30 years of experience in the trading and distribution of commercial vehicles in Thailand, possessing an extensive customer base and a wide operational network. The partnership between the two parties lays a foundation for sustainable growth in the local market, while also demonstrating the partner’s confidence in KIM LONG MOTOR’s manufacturing capabilities, product quality, and development orientation.

Under the agreement, KIJSETTHI Mobility will serve as the official distributor of KIM LONG MOTOR vehicles in Thailand, while also deploying a nationwide sales and after-sales service network. The product portfolio includes both next-generation internal combustion engine vehicles and fully electric vehicles, catering to diverse passenger transport needs as well as the green transition trend.

The products are manufactured at the KIM LONG MOTOR Hue automotive manufacturing and assembly complex, based on advanced technology with a high level of automation and digitalization. The company maintains strong control over key production stages, from mechanical component manufacturing to core elements such as chassis, body, engines, batteries, and electrical systems, achieving a localization rate of over 80%. In addition, compliance with the ATIGA rules of origin allows products to benefit from tariff incentives when exported to Thailand and other ASEAN countries, thereby enhancing competitiveness and operational efficiency.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ho Cong Hai – Deputy CEO in charge of Production, R&D, and Development at KIM LONG MOTOR emphasized:
